MADI ROBERTS Bio

Madi is passionate about how systems interact to create places that are livable, sustainable, and connected for all. She understands the critical role planners play as intermediaries between city officials, developers, stakeholders, and the community. This informs a holistic approach to projects to understand the unique needs for communities and clients. 

Her planning interests have been shaped through professional and peer driven experiences. She assisted in faculty led research at Texas State University understanding the transportation needs for residents at Low Income Housing Tax Credits complexes and interned with the United State Department of Transportation Volpe Center. 

She cares for her community through volunteer work with the San Marcos Downtown Association, annual river cleanups, and Adopt a Spot cleanups. She also serves as a voting member for the Zoning Board of Adjustments, Vice President of the Student Urban Planning Organization, and chair for the Environmental Service Committee.
