A passionate, curious and creative urban thinker, Zach is guided by how cities can facilitate a happy healthy life for all. A love of mechanics and restoration from an early age developed a systems level mindset leading into planning as a profession.

 Zach served as a policy analyst for Council Member Jimmy Flannigan where he provided critical guidance through some of Austin’s most pressing topics like land development, speed mitigation through new urbanism and economic development. Zach joined Simplecity.Design as an Urban Designer and Planner to continue to uncover the ways the built environment can be a system of good for people and the natural world.
